Yes, I had to have surgery on L4-L5. They went in and put in a metal rod and screws. It takes a long time to get over the surgery. It was painful but the pain meds made it bearable and I was told it would take a few weeks but it took over a year. It did take a few weeks to get over the surgery but the healing (after I read the facts) will take up to a year. It was a hard surgery and due to my insurance, I got to stay in the hospital less than 48 hours and then I went home. The surgery did help and I thank God for the surgery. My back still gets tired but not like it did.
