Headaches and difficulty swallowing can happen with an upper cervical problem and scapular pain is very common with a lower cervical problem. I would recommend physical therapy, but i would recommend you seek the care of a physical therapist who is certified in mechanical diagnosis and therapy. I'd recommend you go to www.mckenziemdt.org and use the therapist locator. ...I would not consider surgery just yet. Chances are, you need one or two simple things to resolve this and if there is no benefit in about 2 weeks of PT with the MDT approach, then I would consider injections. This all sounds very neck related.

I have had back injury resulting in minor pain. Most say I sprained it.You might try to go to a long time chiropractor.I found they help better.I leaned if you strengthen your back muscles it makes it stronger.I had a bulging disk not degenerative. The chiro told me to put cool packs on the area to lessen swelling. This is after an injury(sprain).Degenerative disks can be very painful sometimes
extremely so.You really have to do home work to find out all the facts. It's not always as bad.I know a guy that had extreme pain.He did everything except surgery. No help.He exercised his back, after a year he was pain free,no joke.So you see there are things you can do.

It's crucial to eat well to keep in good health. Acai berry is an exciting super food which keeps you in good health and in addition has the bonus of assisting you to lose loads of weight. There's a free trial on currently at http://donons.yourweightlossonline.info , why not check it out, how worse could it make things?
